A quick update and answering allegations

Main 127 Comments

Hi everyone. I hope you are all in the best of health. It’s been a while since I last made an update.

When I first started creating videos I had no idea they would become as popular as they have today. The nature of my content is to educate people on an alternative look at mainstream issues and it has been attracting a lot of attention. Word of mouth is also getting about and I receive many messages from people telling me how they enjoy watching my videos in their living rooms with family and friends around. My videos are also being shown at many educational events and I have been notified that even teachers in some schools are telling their students to search for my videos online. I have also been invited to various media interviews and even to take part in a TV show. Today, the total number of people who have watched my videos on just my YouTube channel alone stands over 27 million and growing. Indeed, this could not be possible without the help of my viewers.

It’s been quite a few months and I haven’t really shown much activity. I’ve been receiving hundreds of emails asking where I am and if I plan to work on anything else. I can tell you that at the moment I am not working on anything. There is, however, a new series I’d like to work on. This new series which I have in mind will undoubtedly be my most informative series out there by far. When and if I start on it I do not know, maybe in a few months’ time or longer, or never.

The reason for this is because… I’m busy with life.

But be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel for future updates. Subscribe to THELIGHT’s channel as well, this guy makes some interesting videos.

Moving on, in the past few months rumors have spread claiming that I am a Freemason or some sort of agent working for the Illuminati trying to spread disinformation. You guys are correct, I’m a 20 year old 33rd degree Freemason. I have been brainwashing you all this time, and you are all under my control.

I am, of course, kidding.

As ridiculous as these claims are, I can understand why they arise. From what I have gathered, these claims seem to originate because I seem to be using numerology. Their ‘evidence’ is based on, for example, my YouTube join date which is September 11th 2008, and the number of episodes in The Music Industry Exposed series, which is 11 and the length of some of my videos and the dates they are uploaded which equals to 11. Also my online name, ‘FarhanK501′ equals to 666. For example, the first 6 comes from the letter F which is the 6th letter of the alphabet, so if we take F out and just have ‘arhanK’ we are left with 6 letters. If we add 5 + 0 + 1 we have a third 6.

The reason I chose 501 for my name is because the username, ‘FarhanK’ was already taken on YouTube, and 501 is a random generated number which YouTube chose for me. Another thing which bothers some people is my Facebook profile picture because of the one eye symbolism. Just because you see someone with one visible eye doesn’t mean they’re an Illuminati puppet. You’ll find millions of one eye covered photos, mine is just another one of those. I did it to make the photo more interesting. I’ll take a new picture soon anyway.

About my YouTube join date – I didn’t join YouTube on September 11th intentionally. In fact I joined YouTube only to upload gaming videos because I’m a casual gamer. Here’s the proof, check the date I uploaded this video. I have over a hundred gaming videos uploaded to my channel which are set to ‘unlisted’, meaning no one can view them unless they have the link to the videos. This is because I’ve decided to dedicate my channel to spreading knowledge and raising awareness.

From what I can tell, I have ‘woken up’ over a million people and continue to do so as they view my work. So even if I was some sort of disinformation agent, how would that make it bad? Each and every one of you should realise that the best thing one can do is raise awareness and help spread knowledge about the people who rule our planet. This leads people to do some research thus protecting them from the current evils in the world today, such as food/water chemicals, government/corporate conspiracies and media brainwashing to name a few.

I admit that I have been trying to experiment with numerology, even though I don’t know how it works and its significance. Before I explain a few things, I’d like to clarify something. Numerology is not evil. A knife which is used for chopping vegetables is not evil, but it can be used for that. So we cannot accuse the tool of being evil, only the intentions behind how it is used is what can be interpreted as good or evil. And yes, that means the number 666 is not the Devil’s number, it is just a number, and no number is evil. It is the intent behind the use of this number. To say that something that has no conscience is evil is to say God created evil, which is a great sin, as God only creates good. Evil is the result of lack of goodness. In the same way light and dark work. Darkness only exists where there is lack of light, but darkness wasn’t created, light was.

Numerology is real and has a purpose. It is a system which we can extract beneficence from. God has created the universe with a purpose. It is inconsistent with the Godhead that He should bring into being anything merely by way of sport or pastime. God says in the Holy Qu’ran:

We created not the heaven and the earth and all that is between the two in play. If We had wished to find a pastime We would surely have found it in what is with Us, if at all We were to do such a thing. [21:17]

Indeed, to imagine that God does anything without purpose, in effect amounts to a denial of God. All God’s attributes operate in accordance with the requirements of wisdom, as He says:

And We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between the two but in accordance with the requirements of wisdom; and the Hour is sure to come. So turn away from them in a comely manner. [15:85]

He created the heavens and the earth in accordance with the requirements of wisdom. He makes the night to cover the day, and He makes the day to cover the night; and He has pressed the sun and the moon into service; each pursues its course until an appointed time. Hearken, it is He alone Who is the Mighty, the Great Forgiver. [39:5]

We have not created the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, but with truth, and for an appointed term; but those who disbelieve turn away from that of which they have been warned. [46:3]

The whole of God’s creation is in harmony. There is no discord, disorder, or incongruity. Everything is adjusted and co-ordinated so as completely to fulfill the purpose for which it was created. Such disorder or maladjustment as may be observed results from misuse or contravention of the laws governing the universe. The purpose of the creation of the universe is to aid man in achieving the object for which he has been created. This is part of the measure of God’s unlimited bounty to man. The universe and the laws that govern it constantly work out under Divine direction the consequences, beneficent or otherwise, of man’s use of God’s bounties. To aid man in the achievement of this purpose, he has been endowed with appropriate faculties and capacities. In addition to man’s inherent capacities, which are best fitted for the achievement of the purpose of his life, God has bestowed upon man dominion over the forces of nature in the sense that the whole of nature is governed by laws; the operation of these laws has as its object the beneficent service of man. These laws are ascertainable, and through their knowledge man can progressively increase his mastery over the forces of nature and extract greater and greater beneficence from them. The universe was subjected to man for the enrichment and consummation of his life. God says in the Holy Qu’ran:

Allah is He Who created the heavens and the earth and caused water to come down from the clouds and brought forth therewith fruit for your sustenance; and He has subjected to you the ships that they may sail through the sea by His command, and the rivers too has He subjected to you. He has also subjected to you the sun and the moon, both pursuing their courses constantly. He has subjected to you the night as well as the day. He gave you all that you wanted of Him. If you try to count the favours of Allah, you will not be able to number them. Verily, man is apt to misuse and abuse the bounties of God. [14:32⎯34]

Man is exhorted to reflect upon, and to draw lessons from all these phenomena. God’s favour in bestowing upon man all that was needed for the fulfilment of the purpose of life and in subjecting to his service the whole of the universe and all its phenomena is repeatedly stressed, because it further proves the existence of the One God, who Sustains all of existence, and brings man closer to his Creator.

The Illuminati are the architect of disorder. The knowledge they have and continue to acquire should be turning them towards God but instead they have become proud and have been deceived by Satan and use this knowledge to serve an evil purpose and keep it to themselves and they are very sincere and strict in serving this evil entity. In Arabic, the word Dajjal (Antichrist) has two connotations: First, it signifies a group which supports falsehood and works with cunning and deceit. Secondly, it is the name of the Satan who is the father of all falsehood and corruption. The Holy Qu’ran specifies they shall be the cause of all kinds of mischief running rampant. Waves of calamities will rise on all sides and will race down from every height. They will possess great material strength and dominion, against which all other powers and states will seem powerless. They will also enjoy supremacy in all kinds of knowledge and sciences and establish new and wonderful industries. They will also be dominant in their policies, projects, and good administration, and will show great resolve in their worldly enterprises. They would make great inventions in the latter days and will try to interfere with God’s creation. Is this not what we are seeing today?

The Holy Prophet Muhammadsa saw in a vision that the Dajjal was performing the circuit of the Ka‘bah and was doing it stealthily, like a thief, so that he could destroy the Ka‘bah whenever the opportunity offered… Obviously, no one can say that the Dajjal would actually become a Muslim and perform the circuit of the Ka‘bah. Every intelligent person will interpret this revelation as a vision through which the spiritual condition of the Dajjal was revealed to the Holy Prophetsa, and that this allegory presented itself to him in a vision in which he saw the Dajjal was circuiting the Ka‘bah like an actual person. What it meant was that the Dajjal would be a bitter enemy of Islam and would hover around the Ka‘bah with evil intentions. Thus the interpretation of this vision of the Holy Prophetsa is that the Dajjal will be preoccupied with trying to violate the sanctity of the Ka‘bah. Meaning that in the latter days a group of people will emerge who will be called Antichrist. This group will be a bitter enemy of Islam, and, in order to completely bring down the structure of Islam, it will go circuiting round the Ka‘bah which symbolises the centre of Islam. The Dajjal will try his utmost to demolish the structure of Islam. No one can even imagine the extent of the damage that Islam has suffered at their hands and how truth and justice have suffered.

Look, just look how hard these people are trying to demolish the edifice of Islam and what large resources they have employed for this purpose. In their endeavours they have exposed their lives to danger, spent their wealth like water and they have carried their human abilities to the limit. They have adopted shameful means and implemented them to undermine righteousness, and they have laid down mines to destroy the truth and honesty. All the finely fabricated details of falsehood and pretence have been strenuously invented to bring ruin to Islam. If people’s minds could not be corrupted by other means, they invented thousands of supposed stories and dialogues to do this. Is there any method of the ruin of truth that they have not invented? Is there any way of misguidance that they have not adopted?

But as God says about those who reject His Signs:

So leave Me, (O Muhammad), alone with those who reject this word of Ours. We shall draw them near to destruction step by step from whence they know not. And I give them respite; for My plan is strong. [68:44⎯45]

I hope that’s cleared up a lot of things.

Many people have been contacting me asking if it is possible for them to donate to me to show their support. I appreciate this but unfortunately I do not accept donations. However, if you do wish to show your appreciation to me, then I’d prefer it if you could donate to a charity instead. There are millions of people who are dying of starvation and other forms of poverty around the world. They need your help, they are your brothers and sisters. Please help them. Also, please do keep me in your prayers.

Lastly, I’d like to thank all who email me such kind words and compliments. I really appreciate it.

May God keep you all in the best of health.

    Assalamu Alaikum, just wanted to know why you use music in your videos? It’s not something to be taken lightly, music is completely forbidden except the Duff which is only allowed for women on Eid and Wedding parties. Please stop putting music in your videos brother, you will be held accountable for every person that listens to it in your videos. Thank You

    Salamu Alikum,

    Great bunch of Information boy. May Allah bless you with you more knowledge and guide you more in your dawah. Ameen!

    I would like to leave a comment to Laiba over here that there’s no doubt that Music is haraam in Islam with the help of Sahih Hadiths but putting Music in the background to give someone attention and reveal the message of Tawheed, is something like doing small lose to make prevent from the big. Like killing in Islam is forbidden except for Murders, or mus-cheifing on the land. So these are called small loses and they’re Halaal way. BUT AGAIN! Music is still haraam and will be haraam till the day of Judgment and using them in videos is false but it’s not a big lose as the Shirk and Kufr is.

    I myself use Music in my videos on YouTube, JUST TO GIVE ATTENTION TO THE PERSON.

  17. Laila Says:
    October 28th, 2011 at 6:59 am

    @Basalat Khan The issue of listening to music or using it in videos is definitely not small. There is no exception for using music, other than the one I mentioned. You can’t call people to Tawheed through haram means. “Alcohol is the mother of all filth and the key of all filth is the Music [Ibn Qayyim]” If using music to call people to Allah was an effective way, wouldn’t the Prophet sal Allahu alaihi wa salam use it? Did the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) ever use music to do Da’wah? Do the scholars use music to call people to Islam? No, we are supposed to use wisdom and gentle preaching to call people to the truth. Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:…singing, beating the duff and clapping are things that women do, the salaf used to call a man who did those things effeminate, and they called men who sang effeminate, and this is well known among their sayings. Majmoo’ al-Fataawa (11/565, 566).”
    In the hanafi madhab, a person’s testimony will not be accepted if they listened to music. Anyway, when we call people to Islam through music, why would they stop listening to it after they accept Islam? Let’s not make any excuses and let the shaytan play with us brother. Music is haram, and is certainly not to be used to do da’wah.
    Also, punishing a person who was a murderer is not a loss in my view. It’s justice.

    @Laila

    NO way music is forbidden, and if you talk about songs it depends on the content of the song, just because scholars don’t use it to spread their message doesn’t mean its forbidden and even if a scholar said it is that doesn’t make it so, scholars are not some special people or people chosen by god they are just normal people like you and me but they know more religion related information and stuff but still they can make mistakes what they say is not definite, god gave us a brain for us to use and differentiate between whats wrong and whats right because so by listening to someone playing on a piano for example that is forbidden? really? it doesn’t cause harm to anyone either to who plays it or the listeners and it doesn’t direct them to other bad things its not possible that its forbidden i can understand why you believe so but not just because some scholar said it is and you heard him when you was young and you carried that idea with you along the years that made you believe in that but its not forbidden, use your brain to know whats wrong and whats right not just what anyone else say, god made the holy books to guide people and to reference them but he gave them a mind to do the right thing.

    I noticed how you asked for him to check out a video? The fact that you stopped reading (after mention of the Holy Quraan) is a mystery. I would personally call that ignorance. Read the Quraan. The quotes. And read the Bible. I am a muslim and in my house I have 3 different versions of the Bible. Every now and then me and my family sit together and discuss the Bible and its relationship it shares with the Quraan. But I always notice, we sit there, with one Quraan, and 3 Bibles of different versions. There is no other version of the Quraan. Just the same book. If you feel so strongly about your faith, Read! Examine other religions to better yourself for your own faith. It gives strength. There is so many more educated instances of Muslims converting from Christianity. But don’t turn a blind eye to what has been set before you. Think about it, if you were strong enough, it wouldn’t deter you. But if you feel what you read was correct, let your sense to the work. Question yourself.

    @Laila

    I have been through these debates and discussions over and over and its something that will always be debated on. I have personally seeked out information with regards to music and its permissability in Islam, I even spoke to plenty of Alims, Shiekhs, Imams and so forth. Everyone of them had a different opinion on the matter. Some say its not permissible, others say its all about the content and the intention behind the music.

    After a long time I have made peace with this issue and simply do what I think is right FOR ME. I am not trying to push an idea or try to influence anyone with my idea about this issue, but for me, its all about the content and intention of the music.

    Obviously, Music that promotes sex, drugs, violence and all those bad elements is not permissable, to me at least. It doesnt stop with the music though, it also depends on who the person is that is performing the music. There are plenty of artists that claim to be Muslim yet dont live or act like one. So if your an artist that puts out positive messages but dont practice what you preach, then i wont listen to you.

    I believe Music is only haraam if the music has bad intentions, contains anything that is bad and can influence the listener in a bad way. Imagine listening to an artist like Sami Yusuf and doing bad things while listening to it, like having sex with women, drugging, drinking and so on and so fourth. You will have to have a sick twisted mind to do something as crazy as that. No one in their right mind will listen to Sami Yusuf while performing bad acts.

    I have been performing Islamic orientated music for some time now, and I will never forget the impact it had on the listener. We performed songs in a shopping mall once, mixed race of people from all religions stood and watched us, curios, baffled and enquisitive, thats how I would describe the non muslims that were standing there looking at us perform. After the performance, numerous people came up to us wanting to know about our music. Im talking Christian people and all sorts, they wanted to purchase our music cause they thought it was beautifull and sounded good. They had no idea what we were singing about cause it was all in Arabic!

    Here’s the point I wish to make, Music is universal, everyone likes it. Its a tool that can be used to inspire, change and bring people together. It can also be used to influence people in a negative way.So if postive music can at least spark an interest in Islam, and try to change the misconceptions of it, and lead them on a path to discovery, then I say its good.

    So what you say about labeling all music haraam? Everything is not black an white.
    Its all about interpretation.

    and i see someone who even didnt have a religion or we call it “kafir” still helping people than we who have a religion.. they still better then someone who only talks but cannot do more.. anyway thx for the good article and God Bless..

    I dont know which alims you spoke to, but it’s really not a surprise that some alims allowed music because the Prophet SAW already told us about these people.”In my ummah there will be people who allow fornication/adultery (zina), silk (for men), wine and musical instruments [ma'aazif].” (Saheeh Bukhaari)We have to look at what the scholars of the past said too. Was there any companion of the Prophet SAW who allowed music? The companions learned Islam directly from RasulAllah SAW, so they were the best of people and we have to strive to follow their example. “And the Messenger of Allaah SAW praised them when he said: “The best of my ummah is my generation, then those who come after them, then those who come after them.” (al-Bukhaari) Infact, Ibn Masud and Ibn Abbas, 2 of the greatest companions (may Allah be pleased with them) swore by Allah that this ayah refers to music. “And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e. music, singing) to mislead (men) from the path of Allaah” [Luqmaan 31:6] And we know that the companions (RA) didn’t swear by Allah for petty or frivolous things. The fact that they swore by Allah indicates the seriousness of this issue and that this is not something to be taken lightly. Al-Hasan al-Basri (Rahimahullah)said: “this ayah was revealed concerning singing and musical instruments.” Did u know that the 4 great Imams were agreed upon the impermissibility of music. Also, we don’t just take knowledge from anyone nowadays, as there’s more ppl who are on innovations and deviations than people on the Sunnah, so one must be very careful about whom he takes his knowledge from. We have to look at what the great scholars of the past said and what the present scholars who are strictly on the Sunnah have said. The Prophet(sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Verily, Allah does not take away knowledge by snatching it from the people, but He takes it away by taking away (the lives of) the religious scholars till none of the scholars remains alive. Then the people will take ignorant ones as their leaders, who, when asked to deliver religious verdicts, will issue them without knowledge, the result being that they will go astray and will lead others astray.” [Sahih Bukhari]And this is exactly what we see happening today. People who are not qualified to give rulings are giving them and spreading their deviant ideas. Umar Ibn Al-Khattab (RA) said: “Islam will be destroyed by the mistakes of scholars, the arguments of the hypocrites who misinterpret the Qur’an to support their views and misleading rulers.”In Islam, we dont go by what WE THINK is good, we dont go with our desires, we need to have evidence for everything. The people who have said music is prohibited have plenty of evidence, people who oppose this have no authentic evidence. Ibn Al-Qayyim (rahimahullah)said: “Never do the love of song and the love of Qur`ân come together in a person’s heart except that one expels the other.” And this is indeed true. I urge you to listen to Abu Mussab Wajdi Akkari’s lecture titled “The Classical Hit: It’s Bad” on youtube, his channel is OneWaytoParadise. Please listen to this lecture if you are a seeker of the truth.

    Abu Dhar said: “I was with the Prophet (SAW) one day and I heard him saying: “There is something I fear for my Ummah than the Dajjal.” It was then that I became afraid, so I said: “Oh Rasool Allah, which thing is that?” He (SAW) said: “Misguided and astray scholars.” Recorded in Musnad Imam Ahmad.

    “It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allaah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allaah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed into a plain error” Qur’an 33:36

    Sami Yusuf in an interview on CNN said that “Music transcends any fiqh issue or religion”. This is a very dangerous statement, this is what his “Islamic” music has done, music makes hypocrisy grow in the heart. And his profession is a singer, he puts out albums, makes videos, performs on stage, has a band, so really what’s the difference between him and any other band out there? Being a singer is haram in Islam. Actually you’d be surprised at what goes on in his concerts. Hijabis dancing and whatnot Astaghfirullah. Like you said, people came up to you wanting to know about your music even though they didn’t understand it. This is the case with people today, their attention is given to the tune, not the words or the message the singer is trying to get across. This is one of the reasons music is not effective in doing da’wah at all. If music really was a tool to bring about change, inspiration, and bring people together, then the world wouldn’t be in the state it is in today. If music really had a positive effect on the listener, then the hearts of the musicians would be better than anyone else’s! But the reality is their hearts are the most corrupt. Why do so many of them lead miserable lives and commit suicide? They appear to be living a luxurious life, the reality is the opposite. People who are supposedly entering Islam after listening to nasheeds are entering because they like the music. Like I said before, if the Prophet SAW didn’t use it, his companions didn’t, then what need do we have to do da’wah in this innovated way?? Music gives you an illusion of happiness, but illusions don’t solve REAL problems. You may feel good for a second, but the next minute you’re back to reality, you’re back to depression, you’re back to anxiety – because you listened to Shaytaan and didn’t listen to Allah when He said: “VERILY, IN THE REMEMBRANCE OF ALLAH DO HEARTS FIND REST”.

    Umar Ibn Al-Khattab (Radiallahu anhu) said: “Islam will be destroyed by the mistakes of scholars, the arguments of the hypocrites who misinterpret the Qur’an to support their views and misleading rulers.”

    All in all, people who allow music are simply fulfilling the prophecy of the Prophet SAW. Read this and listen to the lecture, if you are still truly convinced that music is allowed, then your affair is with Allah. May He guide us all

    @85485

    Firstly, I didn’t hear that music is haram when I was young, so think before you make a conclusion. I was actually a huge fan of music, I loved it so much that I used to say “Music is my life”. This is how far it took me, Islam wasn’t the best thing in my life, music was. I listened to all kinds of music. Did it ever motivate me to do something good? Nope. Songs I HATED would get stuck in my head, and ask any listened to music, they will testify to this. Even when you try really hard to get them out of you head, it doesn’t work. If we can’t get songs out of our minds while we’re fully conscious, how do we expect to say the Shahadah when we’re in the stupors of death? Do you know how many people have died reciting song lyrics while their relatives were there telling them to say La illaha il Allah. When we’re dying, whatever was in our hearts will come out. If love of music was there instead of love of Quran, then that’s what’s gonna come out. Are you saying you are qualified to refute what the scholars on the Sunnah have said about this? The four madhhabs are agreed that all musical instruments are haraam.

    Ibn al-Qayyim who was one the Greatest scholars of the past said: The madhhab of Abu Haneefah is the strictest in this regard, and his comments are among the harshest. His companions clearly stated that it is haraam to listen to all musical instruments such as the flute and the drum, even tapping a stick. They stated that it is a sin which implies that a person is a faasiq (rebellious evil doer) whose testimony should be rejected. They went further than that and said that listening to music is fisq (rebellion, evildoing) and enjoying it is kufr (disbelief). These are their words.
    Please read my comments above and listen to the lecture titled “The Classical Hit: It’s bad” by Abu Mussab Wajdi Akkari on youtube if you are sincere. Ordinary people like you and me are in no position to argue or reject what the scholars have said after they have presented authentic evidence, so we all need to fear Allah and think about what we’re saying and not speak without knowledge. Don’t be a slave to your desires.

To the people who like Farhan are impressed or anything of the sort but are not Muslims and believe in their religion and don’t want to convert, it is your choice. Farhan is not forcing you to change your religion he is giving you knowledge from his perspective and just because you are of another religion doesn’t mean you should hate or not read or learn about other religions, for example my own father (a Muslim for the record same as my whole family) has read the Bible and he hasn’t converted to another religion nor has he hated another religion. So @Mark it’s ok my friend read on and I plan on reading the Bible myself (even though I am a Muslim) to understand Christianity more than what I already know which is quite vague to be honest.

    Alhumdullilah you found the truth :)
    Yes there is a difference between hearing and listening.
    Na’fi reports that once Abd Allah ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them both) heard the sound of a Sheppard’s flute. He put his fingers in his ears, turned his mule away from the road and said: “O Nafi’! Can you hear? I (Nafi’) replied with the affirmative. He carried on walking (with his fingers in his ears) until I said: “the sound has ceased” He removed his fingers from his ears, came back on to the road and said: “I saw the Messenger of Allah SalAllahu Alaihi wa salam doing the same when he heard the flute of the Sheppard” (Recorded by Imam Ahmad in his Musnad and Abu Dawud & Ibn Majah in their Sunans). I believe it’s ok if you hear music without enjoying it, because music is everywhere nowadays and it’s hard to get away from it but that doesn’t mean we have to LISTEN to it. If it comes on the TV I would just mute the volume until the advertisement is over. If someone else plays it, you will not be blameworthy because you didn’t want to hear it, but if you find yourself enjoying it then seek refuge with Allah. It’s very easy to get back into the world of music since it’s all around us unfortunately.
    Experiments carried out by doctors and researchers confirm that music is such that it does not only affect the brain, but each and every organ of the body. There is a close relationship between music and bodily movements. It is also proved that music affects one’s emotions, increases arousal in terms of alertness and excitement and also leads to various psychological changes in the person. In a psychological experiment, it was found that listening to moderate type of music increased one’s normal heart beat, whilst listening to rock music the heart beat increased even further, yet people claim that music has no effect.

    I think it’s awesome that so many people are ‘awakened’ by Farhan’s videos. This is a game changer and I hope he realizes that. As far as religion goes, there is a war against Christians, per se. Do your homework. Research, then research some more. The Romans persecuted Christians, Nazi Germany persecuted the Jews and the United States of America is the newcomer to the game, attacking Muslims.

    What do all three have in common: they’re all Abrahamic religions (monotheistic faiths). When we die and are judged, the Father the Almighty will not judge us based solely upon which side we chose but by our actions. Our actions define us as people. Period.

(Allah over everything!)So would you say it’s ok for me to ‘hear’ (as opposed to ‘listen’) to music when it comes up on TV or someone else is playing it?
    Also on a kinda unrelated topic,since you seem to be very resourceful I was wondering if you could answer another question?!
    Basically,obviously people are not allowed to work during Jumah because this is clearly stated in the Holy Qur’an,however what if you’re of the compulsory age and you miss it for school (i.e. sixth form classes),is this haraam?It’s just that I’ve searched on the internet about this and it wasn’t really helpful.Thanks sis,and sorry at the same time (for asking lots of Q’s!)

    “Allah over everything” < I like that! It would be ok
    in sha Allah for you to hear music if you didn't mean to, but try to avoid the means of access to it to the best of your ability. (example:tv)
    What the hadith I posted before illustrated was that even though the Prophet Sal Allahu Alaihi wa salam wasn't blameworthy for hearing the flute, he hated the sound of it so much that he put his fingers in his ears. So for example when we go to a grocery store and there's music playing, we are not held accountable for that
    because that is beyond our control. As long as we dont start enjoying it and as long as it's something reprehensible, it's ok. Allah doesn't burden a soul beyond its scope.
    I don't have much knowledge at all..may Allah increase us in knowledge ameen
    Hm have you tried asking your teacher to let you leave early or something? Is jumu'ah prayer not held in your school? If your teacher doesn't allow you to leave at first, keep insisting and be firm. If you're worried about missing the notes, you can get them later from a classmate perhaps? If you've tried your best and you still can't leave school, then in sha Allah I hope it would be ok…I'm not really sure, Allah knows best. Sorry I couldn't be of much help in this. And I don't mind your questions at all! If you have more questions by all means you can ask and I will try to find the answer for you. Is there anywhere else we can communicate? Youtube maybe?

    Its amazing how when I tried to introduce a few friends to Farhans videos, they sort of agreed to it, but carried on to ignore it. I’ve only studied Psychology at AS and A2 level, but believe me its equipped me enough to see how it has been used to control the masses and how truly sickening it is. Honestly how many adverts do we see advertising perfumes, phones, movies as compared to charity ones? Thats the world we live in today. The media always attacks our subconcious desires, and now that I remember, everything was there in the text book and all we had to do was piece it up together and bingo! we are a minority fighting against a majority and ofcourse theres bound to be arguments, but this is just the beginning. Mainstream Music, TV Adverts, TV programs, slowly push us into becomming mindless sheep, who wait around for new iphones and gadgets to come out. An example of how we are played with on subconcious levels is as follows; As humans it is now believed that fulfilling our own selfish desires is the greatest pleasure and by constantly doing this and only caring about ourselves we are dummed down. I have to admit being a victim of this, but I’ve stopped, you have to think; doesn’t it hurt a little? when you pay £500, yes £500 for a phone when you can save lives? OFCOURSE IT DOES! and unfortunately for us… we are so mindf**ked by all these commercials that they keep bombarding us with, that we hardly give a toss. Lesson: Blow up your TV (lol) Its all about fulfilling desires and thats what has hit us. Materialism… and then you think about what you take in the grave with you. Its always been majority against minority, why do you think you’d even by a blackberry in the first place? Is it because out of all your friends your the one who doesn’t have one? – ofcourse the pressure of this is great, but resistance is key.

    Other than that, thanks alot for opening our simple minds up to all the crap that we are exposed to today :)
    its our mission to spread the word :D

    More than ever we need God in our lives and we must shield our minds and souls from the orchestrated mind control and technological trance we have all been victims of. Time to raise the curtain and see the evil machinations behind the scene and time to stop believing the “bewitched” world as satan presnts it to us.
    As Fr. Seraphim Rose stated before he died: “the psychological trials of dwellers in the last times will equal the physical trials of the martyrs. But in order to face these trials we must be living in a different world.”
    The Bible speaks of spiritual strongholds, which affect our mind, will and emotion. These are easily attacked by Satan, so the battlefield is in our mind, psychologically speaking. “
    The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. ” 2 Corinthians 10:4-5.
    Strongholds are high levels of demonic influence (not possession) in any area of the spiritual faculties of an individual. Our spiritual faculties consist of our minds, our emotions and our will power. Think of people caught up in some sinful behavior like atheism, unbelief, stealing, greed, alcohol addiction, drugs, sexual sins, promiscuity, pornography, homosexuality, uncontrollable anger, compulsive gambling, and so on.
    They feel easily pulled to or controlled by whatever matter that is entrenched into their lifestyle. Psychology would explain it as patterns of thinking and behaving, true-but there is the spiritual component as well.
    Strongholds are destructible through our indirect weapons of spiritual warfare, prayer and deliverance. They are not demolished by directly confronting certain spirits in geographical territories, familiar spirits, generational spirits, Jezebel spirits, spirits of depression, anger,unforgiveness, addiction,division,divorce etc.
    “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you may be no priest to me. Because you have forgotten your God’s law, I will also forget your children.” Hosea 4:6–

    @Laila

    Don’t forget that when you give advise to your Muslim and non-muslim brothers and sisters that it is actually good advise. There is such a thing as bad advise if people take your word for something and you are wrong then you will be held accountable for giving bad advise if you didn’t make an effort to find the truth.

    An example we know of a famous Hadith in Al Bukhari where songs of Jahiliyyah (society of
    ignorance) were being played in the presence of the blessed Prophet, peace be upon him, and he did
    not object: Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) reported the occasion when her father came to the
    house while the Prophet was resting; two small Ansari girls were singing a famous battle song about
    the Tribes of ‘Aus and Khazraj, commemorating the Day of Bu’ath, which took place before Islam
    came to Yathrib. Her father was shocked and protested, “Musical instruments of Satan in the house
    of Allah’s Messenger!” But Allah’s Messenger said, “O Abu Bakr! There is an ‘Eid for every nation
    and this is our ‘Eid.” ’

    The actual word ‘music’ was never recorded in the original sayings of the Prophet and can not be
    found in the preserved ‘Arabic language of the Qur’an – and Allah surely knows best.

    If music was so darn bad and if we had to plug our ears if we “accidentally” heard music then don’t you think God would have stated clearly in the Quran that Music is bad? He clearly states that Alcohol is forbidden. The quran is a clear guide for all of mankind. Allah knows best. Music is Halaal by default because God does not forbid it. Haraam is a big word, if you want to prove something to be Haraam that is not even mentioned in the Quran your going to have to do a little better than bring a bunch of Hadith. You have to cross reference. Quran first…then hadith. If its not even mentioned in the Quran then you have no basis with the Hadith.

    @TheIsraelite777 its seems you need to read more about islam :) see we believe in Jesus, but we do not believe him as the son of god, we believe him as our prophet, if you say jesus is not a normal son, but begotten son, then theirs a problem, and in the book of romans chapter 8, all those who are led by the spirit of god they are sons of god, also if you say that jesus is a god because he only had a virgin mother, and adam having no father and no mother, that adam is a greater god, but we muslims dont believe in that, see how that makes sense? we believe that jesus (pbuh) is a prophet, ok you never referred that jesus was a god right? than that means adam is a greater son of god :) , well thats the definition of the christian emissary, by my definition he is a prophet, also we muslims to any prophet especially jesus (pbuh) i have to say after his name peace be upon him, so we muslims respect jesus more than any other christian brother :) and we follow his teachings more than any other christian, and if you want i can prove it to you, in the bible, in the book of Isaac chapter 65 verse 6, you should not have pork neither alcohol, most Christians have pork and alcohol, and NO MUSLIM has ever drank alcohol or ate pork, well if we muslims ate it unintentionally, than thats ok,i hope that cleared things brother

NO, allah wants you to work hard and by that you are making good deeds, and dont misunderstand me, even listening to music 24 hours a day is a bad thing, what i mean is, everything has its time, you need to balance your time, for your work, for your relaxation, and we know the prayer times, so thats it, you know where i got that from? Qur’an and the hadeeths of prophet Mohammed, and thats common sense, so you have to take things in moderation, so dont say anything until you proof it :) , so even you dont say these until you find it, peace to you sister :)

    @kloved
    Hello. Ok brother, when did the Prophet SAW listen to music? Plz provide an AUTHENTIC reference to support this claim. So Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala doesn’t care if I go to hell? Then why did He give us guidelines to follow in this life? I agree with you on one thing, Allah doesn’t need us, WE need Him. Brother if you read the Qur’an, you will find the reason for our existence. “Allah informs us in His book that He created jinn and mankind in order to worship Him. Allah (Glorified be He) says, Surah Adh-Dhaariyaat, 51:v56 “And I (Allâh) created not the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me (Alone).” This ‘Ibadah (worship) for which Allah has created Jinn and Humanity means to believe in the Oneness of Allah and devote all forms of worship to Him Alone. These forms of ‘Ibadah include, Salah (Prayer), Sawm (Fasting), Zakah (obligatory charity), Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah), Sujud (prostration), Tawaf (circumambulation around the Ka‘bah), slaughtering sacrifices, making vows, fearing, hoping, seeking help and protection and all kinds of Du‘a’ (supplication) as well as the adherence to what is stated in His Glorious book and the Sunnah of His Messenger (pbuh) concerning the commandments and prohibitions of the Shari‘ah (Islamic law). Allah sent all Messengers and revealed the Books in order to call and show people how to worship Him in detail and command them to devote all their acts of ‘Ibadah sincerely to Him.” There’s several ayat in the Qur’an telling us to worship Allah alone and obey His messenger pbuh, but you must already know that if you’ve been studying Islam and reading the Qur’an with understanding. This life is a test for us brother, we’re supposed to work hard for the akhirah, the next life to come and that should be our primary goal, to attain jannah. Yes when we do anything for Allah’s sake, we earn good deeds, whether it’s working hard at school or work, even sleep. We get rewarded for our sleep if we make the intention to gain the energy to worship Allah. Did u know that initially Allah gave Prophet Muhammad pbuh the command to pray 50 times a day? If we had to pray 50 times daily, our entire day would revolve around Salah, & that was the point. Allah knew that we wouldn’t be able to pray 50 times daily, the point was to signify the IMPORTANCE of prayer. Our day is supposed to revolve around prayer, our prayer isn’t supposed to revolve around our day. So when we pray 1 time, we get the reward of 10 prayers, when we pray 5 times, we get reward of 50 prayers subhanAllah. When we pray, that should be our relaxation time, instead of listening to music. Of course there needs to be moderation in everything. We’re supposed to live our lives according to the guidelines Allah and His Messenger pbuh have set for us which are for our own benefit. I didn’t speak without knowledge about music being prohibited brother, I suggest u read all of my earlier comments carefully. I urge you to watch the lecture “The Classical Hit: It’s Bad” by Abu Mussab Wajdi Akkari on youtube. You will find all the proof you need insha’Allah.

    @Ibrahim
    Thank you brother, for that reminder about advising people and being held accountable for everything I say. I know how wrong it is to speak without knowledge, which is why I provided authentic evidence for what I said. Remember brother, there are no contradictions and no confusion in Islam, so we have to understand the ayat in the Qur’an and ahadith in light of other ayat and ahadith for things to be clear. For instance, when Allah commanded people not to pray while under the influence of alcohol, will you just take this ayah and say alcohol is allowed except when one is to pray? Of course not, if you’re a person of sound reasoning, you’ll look at the ayah where alcohol has been completely forbidden. The same is the case with ahadith, we have to understand some ahadith in light of other hadiths. There are hadiths which are explanations/commentary of verses in the Qur’an. We should be aware that nothing has been prohibited by Allah except that which is harmful to the Muslims and the society as a whole. There are great harms and ill-effects of music. One of the harms of music is that it distracts one from his Creator. It serves as a temporary means of pleasure and satisfaction, which makes one forget who he really is and why he was created. This is the reason why musical instruments are known in the Arabic language as ‘malaahi’ meaning instruments that prevent one from the remembrance of Allah Almighty. “And there are among men, those that purchase idle tales, to mislead (men) from the path of Allah and throw ridicule. For such there will be a humiliating punishment” (Surah Luqman, v.6) The great companion Ibn Masud (RA) swore by Allah that this ayah refers to music. So yes brother, it is mentioned in the Qur’an. The great Companion and exegete of the Qur’an, Abd Allah ibn Abbas (RA) states about this verse: “The meaning of the word is music, singing and the like”. We know the companions (RA) didn’t swear by Allah about petty issues or if they were unsure of something. They only swore by Allah when they were completely CERTAIN about something. One of the great scholars Al-Hasan al-Basri (Rahimahullah)said: “this ayah was revealed concerning singing and musical instruments.” The four madhhabs are agreed that all musical instruments are haraam. Do u think these Great scholars declared music haram without clear evidence from the Qur’an and Sunnah? The same explanation has also been narrated from Mujahid, Ikrima, Ibrahim Nakha’i, Mak’hul and others (Allah be pleased with them all). The above verse of the Qur’an, along with the statements regarding its meaning is clear in the prohibition of music. It also serves as a severe warning for those who are involved in the trade of music in any way, shape or form, as Allah warned them of “Humiliating punishment”. There is a consensus of the whole Ummah on this. Since the first century, the Companions (sahaba), their followers (tabi’een), jurists (fuqaha) and the scholars have been generally unanimous on this ruling. Allah Most High said to Shaytan: “Lead to destruction those whom you can among them with your voice” (Surah al-Isra, V.64). One of the great exegete, Mujahid (RA) interpreted the word “voice (sawt)” by music, singing, dancing and idle things. Imam Suyuti (RA) quoted Mujahid as saying: “Voice (in this verse) is singing and flute”. The are many Ahadith of the Messenger of Allah (SAW) which prohibit music and the usage of musical instruments to the extent that some scholars have gathered approximately forty Ahadith, of which the chain of transmission of some is sound (sahih), some good (hasan) and some weak. Also u must remember, the Qur’an and Sunnah go hand in hand. You can’t understand the Qur’an without referring the ahadith, as they are commentary on the Qur’an. When the Prophet SAW forbade something or commanded something, he didn’t speak from his own mind or desires, it was revelation from Allah. So we don’t say that if something isn’t clearly prohibited or commanded in the Qur’an then we can’t refer to ahadith about it. Both are revelation from Allah SWT, so we don’t undermine one. Please understand this. Lastly, the hadith you mentioned is the exception I already spoke of in my earlier comments. The complete hadith mentions that the Prophet SAW came in when Aisha RA had the 2 small girls and he didn’t join them or sit with them and enjoy it, instead he went to lie down and covered his face. When Abu Bakr RA came and protested, only then did the Messenger SAW uncover his face and say “O Abu Bakr! There is an ‘Eid for every nation and this is our ‘Eid.” The Duff is the sole exception, for young girls ONLY, on Eid and weddings. Notice how Abu Bakr RA described the musical instruments as being of Satan, which means this is what he was taught. Al –ma’azif is translated as musical instruments.

    @Abdullah, I believe that what Farhan has been doing and acomplishing is not bullshit. This man has dedicated his time to reveal stuff that were revolving around us without noticing them, so a little apprecitiation would have been incourging.

    The usage of Quran is perfectly fine because Allah has sent this book for us to read it and use it in our daily lives and till this moment no one could reveal the Quran’s full powers and ii’jaz. Farhan is a monethiestic person who believes that such monethiestic books have the knowledge that we are missing and that we can’t reveal by our own. In my opinion, the usage of Quran makes his claims much more stronger and may later help us understand the bigger picture.

    @laila and all other brothers and sisters

    Coming from the middle east and living in a Muslim society between sheikhs and musim scientists and of course my family, which I may add are all looked up to when asked about religion. There are over tens of thousands of ‘sayings’ ‘hadeeths’ and from those only 70 were chosen by Muslim and Bukhari, so I looked up the hadeeth that Laila keeps on saying about music and It turns out to be one of the weakest types of hadeeth out there! I’m not trying to attack Laila I’m just trying to clarify things for my brother for I am a hajji and a Muslim scholar.

    Moreover, as the prophet said ( salah Allah alayhi wa Salam) that you should always look deep in your heart and use sense when reading hadeeths and that your main and only reference is the Quran NOT the hadeeths. So when reading hadeeths and you find something that you sense doesn’t apply to your heart you should go back to the Quran, NOT to a sheikh but YOU should go back to the Quran.

    Also many of the hadeeths are wrong because there is something called ‘israeliyat’ which means that some of the hadeeths are changed or added just to derail us from our faith such as the music hadeeth and many other nonsense hadeeths, that’s why you should always take the quran as your reference because it is the only thing that is not changed or added since 1400 years and the quran doesn’t even have a small reference to your music issue.

    Finally people I urge you to stop listening to people and nonsense hadeeths and let the Quran and the 70 hadeeths that our prophet (salah Allah alayhi wa Salam) passed on which were ALL just about ethics be your guide in this life after all our prophet taught us to always be a middle nation he hated extremist so why should you be one.

    I hope I helped shun a light on some issues and please don’t feel offended by me and please always remember that there are a lot of people out there trying to give our religion a bad face so don’t help them by submitting to every nonsense thing you hear from uneducated people, as a educated Muslim and having studied Islam my life in a Muslim nation I feel offended by extremists who give us educated true Muslims a bad face.

    @Laith the Muslim

    You are mistaken brother, that hadith is authentic. The other hadiths like “music sprouts hypocrisy in the heart” are deemed weak but the scholars still permit those types of hadiths because this one is authentic.

    And like I mentioned before, Ibn Masud (ra) swore to Allaah that 31:6 refers to music/singing. So there’s your reference from the Qur’an and it’s clear that music is haram.

    People who say otherwise are just following what this hadith states, they want to make music halal.

    Bukhari Book 7 Volume 69 Hadith 494
    Narrated Abu ‘Amir or Abu Malik Al-Ash’ari: that he heard the Prophet saying, “From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful. And there will be some people who will stay near the side of a mountain and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, ‘Return to us tomorrow.’ Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection.”

    I guess most people are unable to accept music being haram…quite a sad reality as it’s a clear indication of how far we’re strayed from the straight path. May Allah guide us all.
    And no worries, I didn’t feel offended at all.

    You’re misunderstanding that verse. Read it slowly and reflect over it. It means exactly what it says. Allah is not saying that He created evil, but he is telling us to seek His protection from the evil of what is being created out of His Creation. For example God has made human beings good, but it’s lack of goodness which results in evil, so we can say that is the evil which has been created from God’s Creation. Do you understand?

There’s lotss of people out there claiming to be “scholars” when they don’t even have the correct understanding of Islam and all they do is give their own interpretations and opinions. In no way am I saying that you’re an unreliable person so please don’t misunderstand. But any person who reads and studies doesn’t become a Scholar. People who do da’wah give lectures and stuff are du’at, not scholars. When we’re seeking knowledge, we have to see if the scholar’s aqeedah and manhaj is sound. If they follow the way of the Salaf, great, if not then we know not to take knowledge from them. Shaykh `Abdul-`Azeez Bin Baz, Shaykh Naasir ud-Deen al-Albaanee, Shaykh Muhammad bin Saalih al-`Uthaymeen, (May Allah have mercy on them) they are some of the great scholars of our time who were strictly on the Sunnah, and they’re the ones I try to follow. Shaykh Al-Albaanee was a Muhadith Rahimahullah. I hope you don’t mind me asking, but you said you are a scholar so I’m wondering whom you studied under..? Which books did you read from? I don’t mean this in a disrespectful way at all, are your colleagues and those 4 other people you mentioned Muhadiths? How long have they studied and who are their teachers? Since you’re insisting that the hadith is weak, can I ask you where the weakness is in that hadith?
    “Abdullah Ibn Mas`ood , a very close companion of our Prophet was asked about the meaning of the term `lahwal hadith`, he replied: “I swear by Him besides whom there is no other God,that it refers to ghinaa (singing ).” This statement, he repeated three times. This view is unanimously supported by the four Khalifas, the eminent Sahabaah, Tabi`een, the four Imaams and other reliable Islaamic scholars and authorities.” This is something known.
    If you read my earlier posts, you will see that it wasn’t only Ibn Masud RA who understood this verse (31:6) to refer to music, but many other sahaba and tabi’een as well as the great classical scholars of the past. There has been consensus amongst the scholars about music being haram. (When I say scholars I’m referring to the ones strictly on the Sunnah, from both the past and the present) Ibn Abbas RA was an expert in the Tafsir of Qur’an, and he also stated that this verse refers to music/singing. As Muslims we have to understand the Qur’an and Sunnah according to the understanding of the pious predecessors because they were the best of people.

    I would say that we should refrain from speaking on Allah’s behalf. Yes Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala is the Most Merciful, but that doesn’t give us a green light to sin. Also, by saying that “all that matters is….” One may be implying that everything else Allah revealed is inconsequential and trivial. I’m pretty sure that’s not what you believe, but that is the implication you put forward. Allah tells us to enter into Islam wholeheartedly and completely. We don’t pick and choose what we want to follow or what we don’t want to follow if it doesn’t comply with our desires. There are no trivial issues in Islam.
    The Prophet (salla’Allaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) warned against certain individuals in an authentic hadeeth:
    “I certainly do not want to find any one of you reclining upon his couch and saying that when there comes to you a command that I gave or something which I have prohibited: ‘I do not know. What we have found lawful in the Book of Allaah, we accept it as lawful and what we have found in it to be unlawful, we accept it as unlawful.’”
    Related by Ahmad (4/132) and Abu Dawud (no. 5064) and by at-Tirmidthee (no. 3662). This hadith is warning against individuals who don’t accept the commands or prohibitions conveyed to us in ahadith and only go by the Qur’an. (Not saying you’re one of them, but you told me to “stick to the Quran” so just thought I’d share this. These people go as far as rejecting the Sunnah completely and thereby are kafirs.

And who gets involved in doubtful matters, he would fall into Haraam.’ (Bukhari; Muslim)

    Dear Sister Leila et al,

    Please can you debate your issues some place else? Farhan uses music but it’s mainly instrumental- extracts of music and music videos are used to prove a point.

    There are bigger issues in Islam then music- be it social, cultural or political. For example, the whole aim of this series…the Illuminati, the evil in our society, the mind control etc.

    Yes music is part of that- but go take it out on the music industry. There’s hardly a musician out there who isn’t making occult symbols and orgasming (sorry- but it’s true..they’re permanently sexed up). I mean for those of you who do listen to music, how can you put up with permanently gyrating thong wearing sex maniacs? I mean c’mon it’s only music- it’s meant to be fun, entertaining, to be enjoyed. But hey that is the whole point of the music industry series.

    You can find the fatawa of the great scholars of our time on this site.

    The messenger (Sallallaahu ‘Alayhi Wasallam) mentions, ‘Verily Halaal is clear, and verily Haraam is clear. And between them there are certain doubtful matters many people are unaware of, therefore, whoever stays away from doubtful matters he has protected his Deen and honour. And who gets involved in doubtful matters, he would fall into Haraam.’ (Bukhari; Muslim)

    I’m not looking for a debate. I mentioned before that there are no trivial issues in Islam so we don’t go around saying “There are bigger issues in Islam then music”. Music is one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) reasons for the weak and pitiable state of Muslims today. I don’t think I need to elaborate on this as more than sufficient evidence has been provided. The music industry wouldn’t be thriving and exercising “mind control” (like you said) if it weren’t for the people taking it all in and abandoning the Qur’an. I won’t be replying now to anyone who says music is not haram, those people are only following their own desires. May Allah guide us all.

    @laila

    What evidence? you haven’t given any evidence at all. Brother Laith just explained everything with tremendious clearity and I want to thank him for doing that. There is no issue to debate as it is very clear, music is fine as long a it is “clean” (doesn’t promote violence, etc.) and besides Muslims have made great strides in the area of music over the course of the great Islamic Empires. Many instruments we use today were invented or perfected by Arab Muslims.

    Your argument in favor of music being haram is based purely on hadith. When you pointed to the Quran it still relied on a hadith to tell us that God means music when he said “idle talks” I think that if God wants to say music he can very clearly say “music is haram” . Music is basically poetry with musical instruments and don’t tell me poetry is haram too.

    “And if all the trees on the earth were pens and the sea (were ink), with seven seas behind it to increase it, yet the Words of Allah would not be exhausted. Verily, Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.”[31:27]

    You are wrong when you say that Islam has no contradictions or confusion. The QURAN has NO contradictions and NO confusion. How ever the Hadith was written by man/human and is prone to mistakes and contradictions. Thats why its so important to double check Hadith’s with the Quran.

    Brother Laith made a very good point in that we should turn to the Quran. If you want to follow Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) you follow the Quran because this is what was revealed to him.

    Sister I didn’t take offense in anything you said but I kept thinking what I wanted to reply but it seems that we have different points of view and different studies I looked into everything you said and at the end I’m going to keep on saying go back back to the QURAN I can’t help you more than that and after debating with you I read the Quran 4 times just this week and re read the books explaining Quran and still theres nothing about music in there so please stop with this debate I am too old and I type too slow to start a debate with you and try to ‘guide’ you to the quran..

    Please stop debating this subject with me at the end I will keep on saying that our religion is easy and humble and not this specific and merciless.

    SubhanAllah you say you’ve studied this religion for so long, yet you couldn’t tell me where you studied it from and who your teachers were… :S
    If your whole argument is that music isn’t declared outright and clearly haram in the Quran, then your argument is absolutely groundless. You say you read the Quran 4 times in a week..then certainly you must’ve read the numerous verses where Allah tells us to OBEY THE MESSENGER. You keep saying you didn’t read in any of your books that music is haram…I really wonder what books you’re talking about…you didn’t mention their titles even after I asked.
    Just because Allah made music haram for us, (for numerous reasons) Islam becomes merciless?? Wow.
    I appreciate your efforts to “guide” me, but I’m not one of those “Quran-alone” people. I follow the Quran AND the Sunnah, as Allah told us to do. Lastly, Islam is called a Complete Way of Life for a Reason. It IS specific, it guides us in Every aspect of life. Please read the Quran again with the correct tafseer and understand it according to the understanding of the Salafus Saalih, the people who Really understood Islam.
    I’m not interested in debating you. Salam.

    @misguided FOOLS..

    Stop spreading your wrong interpretations of islam. Music is CLREALY HARAM.. You should know this without doubt.. no explanation is required is you are a TRUE muslim. The information provided is irrefutable.

    Even non-muslims understand why music is haram as is explained in the book “Rust Out” by Dr Bailey…

    “Frontal Lobe and Music
    The frontal lobe is where your spirituality, morality and choice (your will) are located. Music is one of the few things in life that enters your brain through the temporal lobes and limbic system (the emotional regions) and not the frontal lobe/judgment center. Music, such as rock with it’ssyncopated rhythm, bypasses the protective screen of the frontal lobe, producing a addictive high and a large emotional response with very little logical or moral interpretation music therapists tell us.1 Few people understand the powerful influence that music can have on the frontal lobe of your brain (the seat of judgment), just like TV and alcohol, it can have a hypnotic effect on you. You may never submit to hypnotism (control of your brain by something or someone else), but are you doing the same thing with music?”

    I think you raise interesting points Farhan, but I think you are misguided when you say that these groups of powerful men are in it just for the Devil. Money and power is the reason for the elitist groups. Just because on has money and power, it doesn’t make them the antichrist, it just makes them live an extraordinarily easy and fun-filled life.

    What I also find interesting is the utmost belief in Religious faiths most of your fans/viewers have. In my Psychology class we studied how religion is very powerful in that it helps explain many of the unexplainable things in our universe. Of course, now that science is maturing, Religion is slowly dying. Is this bad? Perhaps. But throughout history, How many have died because of Religion. Ultimately, Religion is a propaganda tool, created by few to serve thier purposes. When religions want you to act a certain way, it’s not because some “higher power” commanded it, it’s because someone wants you to act that way…Food for thought for you religious Zealots :p

    Anyway, Love people not because a book, or a priest, or a mosque tells you too. Do it because it is the right thing to do.

    @ Leila Why do we need these “experts” to tell us how to read the Qu’ran? Sheesh, I think people are perfectly able to decipher a book that was written by a group of people who were “magically” given instructions from God. Give me a break. I respect your religion and magical way of thinking, but you should respect other’s as well.

    And I don’t understand all this fuss about Music. If you don’t want to hear it, silence the videos. Or do your own research without Music. Not everyone believes in your Magical thinking that Music is some type of sin. If one wants to listen to Music, let them listen, who are you to tell them otherwise?

  104. Laila Says:
    November 23rd, 2011 at 2:03 am

    @LoveAll

    Clearly you are an ignorant when it comes to Islam. If people were “perfectly able” to understand the Qur’an, there wouldn’t have been the need to send a Messenger. The Qur’an is the guidelines sent for mankind. The Sunnah was Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) teaching the Qur’an and fufilling the role of a Messenger. Confusion and problems arise when people start interpreting the Qur’an by themselves, according to their own desires. Yeah it’s quite clear how much respect you have for my religion. Nice way of contradicting yourself lol. Sorry but it’s pretty hard to respect people who are willfully ignorant and blinded by their own desires.

    I don’t have the time to explain to you the fundamentals of Islam, and it looks like you’re not one who’s open to learning. If you don’t understand something, it would be advisable to stay silent about that particular subject and not make a fool out of yourself until you Do understand. I don’t have a problem if someone wants to listen to music in their own home. It’s not approved of, but as long as they’re not harming others with their actions, it’s between them and Allah. However I do have a problem when they come out to the public and start telling other people wrong things because now they’re negatively influencing others. A Muslim doesn’t think like “Oh if someone wants to cause harm to themselves and others, it’s ok. I won’t say anything because it’s their life”. That’s as selfish and apathetic as you can get when it comes to the well-being of others. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) told us that we’re not believers until we want for others what we want for ourselves. And anyway, rock/heavy metal and rap music has been shown to cause aggression. Please do some research about the harmful effects of music.

    @Laila

    Just because Islam says it, it doesn’t make it right. The reason I say let someone listen to music is because they might not have the same beliefs as you do. You may vehemently believe in it, but like The Egyptians before you, they believed in their own religion, the Masai people in New Zealand have never heard of Islam. Millions of Brazilian aboriginals pray to multiple gods for substanance every year. Navajo Indians believe that the greatest sin is eating an unripe fruit. Does that mean we all should’t eat unripe fruit? Which religion is right? Which is wrong? Just because a book written 1500 years ago says something, it must be true? The only “confusions and problems” that seem to arise come from people who want to start them. TO THIS DAY, people kill each other because of Religion and what they think is right. Who has claim? Who is right?

    Alas, this is bigger than Islam. This is bigger than Religion. This is bigger than Music. This is about 1% “elite” who are taking advantage of the 99%.

    all religions think that they are right.. and start to twist wherever phrase they find in the bible.

    religion just separate us, we should be spiritual and follow what our interior voice (people call God) say.
    to be Gods people means to be good with our earth, to be good with the people surround us and to be good with ourselves.

    I do agree that all this music videos singing about the devils is very sketchy and i also thing that treating woman like prostitute or object is horrible as well as money, sex, drugs and power being the main subject of the music videos.

    Mashallah this article was great! I just wanted to say that what you are saying is correct in some sense but do not generalize it too much. Islam does not allow the beats used in music with the exception of the duff. You ARE allowed to listen to music without beats, such as Sami Yusuf songs. Don’t take it the wrong way, I support you :P . Btw @everyone else, before you give your “fatwa’s” on music and what not, think to yourselves, how many years have you studied Islam? lol this guy… claims to be spreading the truth, hah. 1st of all, the illuminati does not exist anymore, he is only deluding people and luring them into his belief which so happens to be ‘islam’.

    He creates this fear that there is an evil world dominating force, which is supposedly the ‘illuminati’, that will do whatever means necessary to create discord and spread terror because they are devil worshippers. Once the patient is convinced (or as they claim ‘awakened’) the victim then feels insecure and often scared. The victim is then offered help by him through the submission of himself to an eternal god figure that lays out commands to the victim, or famously known as Islam (which means ‘submission’ in Arabic).

    That guys is the three step formula to brainwashing which American psychologist Robert Jay Lifton summarised,
    1. Break you down (cause you to feel insecure)
    2. Offer you help (claim to have infinite wisdom)
    3. Build you up (command through Divine scripture)

    On the topic of Music, Yeah prophet muhammad did use a form of music, verbal poetry. The poetic surahs in the quran have to be recited vocally and rhythmically by the person or the Imam. This is indeed a form of music and it is well known that this type of music can psychologically alter the humand subconscious to embed the meaning of the lyrics into their mind (yea like he says in HIS OWN VIDS)

    Islam isn’t true, for nothing is every true and everything is permissible.

    Your work is amazing! Your religion is not… People are not that important and the world will be fine without us.

    It’s all a choice and religion decides nothing in the reality of things, only consciousness will prevail and no book or judgment will decide anything.

    Either we understand and find our own meaning. Or man will always be ruled by man.

    Peace

    What about the “extremely subliminal music” people have been complaining about? Is it just average music and sound effects, or are you doing something behind it?

    I am astonished at your work, Farhan. There are no such ways to describe your work, they are perfect to rise a nation full of unplugged people of this corrupt world. I will download every single video of yours uploaded on Youtube and share it with my friends, just like I did with the Arrivals, it is spreading well, and they seem to accept this kind of Information. As Allah has mentioned in 61:9 Surat al Suff “They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.” It is Indeed our final days, as I can recall from your videos, but may Allah bless you and guide you, us also from the hardship we are facing in today’s world.

    Hey. Whitney Houston died today, and I was wondering if you thought illuminati had anything to do with it. A yr ago, your videos informed me of so much, and im thankful for your info. Since then, ive gotten closer to God, and have become a rapper. Thanks to you ive been warned of these ridiculous people in the industry, and I pray fr them. I have a question. Do you personally believe those people could be forgiven if they repent? Of course, God almight is the most forgiving being, and he loves us all. Even though its based soley off one religion, I personally reccomend The Shack. This book shows the wonders of God. Please, someday make a post explaining 2012 in full. Please also tell the people extremely paranoid to calm down. One of my best friends has started getting really paranoid and annoying about it, but hes a great christian and servant of God. Please inform us some more. Id at least like to know some things about the upcoming year!

    If anyone wants more info on the kind of stuff Farhan has been talking about, i suggest VigilantCitizen.com
    he writes a lot of articles on the Illuminati, movies and the music industry, MK ultra ect.
    only difference is, he is Christian. not that that should matter at all.
    He has an article about the Super Bowl preformance and just put up one on the 2012 Grammy’s and Whitney Houston’s death. There is a wealth of information on that page.
